Morneau would be a great fit for the Red Sox. Consider that his one weakness as a hitter is keeping his head still over the plate. The presence of the Green Monster gives Morneau a chance to collect loads of opposite field RBI doubles. That would persuade him to keep his head over the ball, which in turn would improve his swing for blasting inside pitches into the second deck in left field. This would put his batting average up over .330, with tons of RBI's and home runs.
I would love to see Morneau remain a Twin, but if he wants to win a Series, he'll have to do it elsewhere.

Do you mean second deck in right field?

Don't you think the Twins should play him, that's about all they got and Joe.

What about a Morneau/Parmelee and Span for Andrus and Young from Rangers? Hamilton gonna leave though FA, and we could put Young at second.

Small sample, but Craig Gentry has saved the Rangers 18 runs in just over 1000 innings with his defense alone. They may just platoon him and Murphy, and seek out a corner outfielder instead (which Hamilton really is)
