    Plouffe Returns

Word up folks. Trev is back on the scene. How do you TD participants think he will do in his return from the Disabled List?

    My Take: 2-4, Single, HR, 1RBI, 1BB, 2 Runs, 2 K, No Errors.

    Your Take?

Nice... I like your prediction, although you seem a bit agitated. I wish I could email you some Qualudes or something. Oh well, maybe in the future.

2-3, 2B, BB, 2 RBI, No Ks, and at least one nifty play at 3B.

Well, there's your nifty play at third. That's a tough catch running full speed with your back to the plate.

Up until now, I didn't realize that you and VodkaDave were the same person. I thought there was a policy against that here.

No, thanks, don't smoke. I'd rather the refrain be "winner, winner, chicken dinner"--that I could go for tomorrow!

I am a little worried about Plouffe over the last few weeks of this season. He says he's not going to be completely healthy the rest of the season. That could lead to questionable performances.

I think it was definitely too early to annoint him as our 3B savior.

It certainly is too early to anoint him anything but he's earned the starting job for at least the first half of 2013.

Definitely too early to sign him up for long term reps at 3b, I agree with giving him the nod for 2013 and seeing where it takes him. There are bigger issues for the team to focus on and its nice to have some level of competence and a bat in that corner.

I think its pretty apparent the guy can handle major league pitching, 15 home runs or whatever in 25 games isn't a fluke.

yeah, plouffe has earned his spot for the forseable future. The team needs lots of pitching and some middle infield help potentially.

I'm late to the party, but assuming he plays tonight, I'd like to begin the betting by saying Plouffe will have his first hit tonight after returning from the dreaded DL. It will be a double, and he will be 1-3 with a BB, and a backwards K.

Since he now owns the hot corner (previously owned by the Coom Dawg), can we please call him Plouffe Dawg?

No, if only for the reason that it sounds like some bizarre sex act the kids over at 4Chan devised after fusking Photobucket for 96 straight hours.

Besides, Plouffesaurus Rex carries so much more gravitas.
