Surprise of Spring Training?
Last year, Carlos Gutierrez threw 10 shutout innings and had people talking. A year earlier, Juan Portes came out of nowhere as a non-roster invite to big league camp and hit several late-inning home runs. That got people talking.
Looking at the 67 players in big league camp, who will be the surprise of camp this year? Who will come out of nowhere to impress?
I'm going to go with Ray Chang.

I know he wouldn't be a huge surprise, but I think Rene Tosoni will do well this spring and fight for that last bench spot to begin the season.

Aaron Bates, he really raked over in Puerto Rico this winter and will fight for a bench spot, esp if Morneau is not 100%

I'm betting Steve Pearce leads the team in spring HR and is the last bat cut.
