CBA changes and Mid-season trades
With the elimination of the Type A/B free agents and most draft pick compensations, what do you think the long-term impact will be on mid-season trades? It already seems like a lot of teams are more reluctant to get "rental players". Will we start seeing a lot fewer mid-season trades, at least big name ones?

my guess is that not nearly as many big prospects will trade hands for a rental player knowing that there are no draft picks to recover... with the extra wild card though, there may be an extra team or two bidding.

Also, with the wild card, would you deal for a rental player, for 1 playoff game maybe?
