The Twins are no longer the worst team in the American League
They are now percentage points ahead of the Seattle Mariners.
Party time!

Keep up this winning and we will blow that high draft choice....just getting ahead of the glass half empty crowd here.

I admit that part of me wanted the Twins to tank this season going in... but right now, they're winning based on the play of guys under team control for years (Plouffe, Diamond, Willingham, Mauer, Perkins, Burton, Revere, Span). You don't cheer for a team to lose and get a good draft pick when they're winning games on the backs of their cost-controlled players.
If this team was winning because of Liriano, Capps, Pavano, Doumit (before the extension), etc. I might feel differently about it (but that is good in its own way, as those players can be traded at the deadline for quality pieces if they're playing well).

Is there some kind of party that one should throw for this momentous occasion? I suggest lots of fireworks across America

The twins could trade A couple players and not be sellers and work a double buy with trading Span for a player that will help us now (starter) and could try to get back into this division. Highly highly unlikely that any possible move will get us the division but it's to early in the season not to push for it.

When the Twins pass KC they will be on there way. Maybe we can trade pitching coaches with the Phillies, there great pitchers stink worst than ours.

Apparently the AL Central doesn't know what home field advantage is.

I don't think we even mentioned your/you're yet. Sigh. And all of this is going to have to wait until I take care of more important things like getting people to put the silverware at the end of a buffet line instead of the beginning. There's a lot on my plate (pun quite intended).
