Plouffe is making nothing and has no replacement. I wouldn't trade him.

It was a minor league signing. No harm at all. And no, the Twins never really considered him a starting option... that all came from Perez's side. The Twins just kept saying they see what he was able...

He just hasn't had any kind of sustained success. Holding AAA hitters to those numbers isn't particularly impressive. I see some bad starts, some great starts and a lot of mediocre starts. If he...

Facts not in evidence, your honor. If indeed true, however, then any pitcher who can't comfortably throw 114 pitches, in one outing, probably shouldn't be promoted to the major leagues.

IMO, the reason they never do is because they can't get that far into a game without getting lit up, rather than because they aren't able to throw that many pitches and be ready for their next start....

Can you explain what the issue is here? Punto is strangely having a RIDICULOUS season. Maybe OPS is horrible too since he has an OPS of .880???? How is WAR not measuring his performance right now?

Nice to hear that he's realistic and frank in assessing himself. And good on him for the strong start. It won't last forever -- as he admits -- but right now I'm happy to shut up and enjoy the ride.

Wasn't it just a few years ago when there were several articles about the Twins having more African-Americans on their team than many other teams? I think it was when Torii Hunter (after he went to...

You mean the part where he said this in the postgame? "It's frustrating," Worley said. "Nobody likes to have that happen to them. So I'll have to make some adjustments this week so that I'm ready...

It's 3 days... He should play RF twice and DH once and give days off to Parmelee, Doumit and Morneau (or Mauer).
