I think we can safely assume that the contracts of Baker and Liriano will be off the books next year. With that being said and after watching James Sheilds pitch last night, do the Twins go after Sheilds this off season? he is a horse and gives us an ace that we've lacked since Johan resided at the dome.

If only we could ask for a mulligan on the Baltimore series...... Twins are 5-9 going into today's game where i expect Pavano to pitch us a series win and then we'll roll with Liriano and see if a miracle happens in St Pete. 2 outta 3 in TB means were looking at 7-10 going into a homestand with a very beatable Boston and KC teams.
