Buxton singled in the first, then stole his 50th base of the year. It's like he's good at baseball or something.

I have heard that being good at baseball can pay well. Something to look into.

I know the Twins will offer a Longoria contract sooner rather than later. I have no idea how long the contract we be for, but the only number that comes to mind is 100M. I think that other young guy who hits home runs may get one also.

Gonsalves only went 4 innings, but struck out 5 and walked 2. 3 hits as well and no runs.

Gonsalves and Stewart look to be following the same path as Berrios. It's certainly good to see these guys dominate like they have, but I can't wait to see how they adapt to full season ball.

If you are going to lock him up early, it's so you DON'T have to pay $100 million.
When the Rays locked up Longoria early, it was for 6yrs/$17.5million guaranteed, with a total of 9yrs/$47.5million when you include the 3 team options.
Buxton might get a little more, because of inflation and because he's a more dynamic prospect, but it won't be twice as much.

I probably should have made it clearer. I don't have the foggiest idea what the terms will be. I just know they will.
