Did Deolis Guerra go to New Britian?

Just 4 infielders on the roster? Who else can play the IF? Or will the sign someone? I guess Parmalee could play 1B too.

Only prospects on the team: Tonkin and Santana

This is old and incomplete. Hold onto your horses :) Pat Dean, for example, is in the New Britain rotation...

Yeah, this is partial. There are pieces that are new. Maybe they're working on it tonight. They have the rosters.

First of all, Pat Dean was actually pretty good in the Red Wings playoff push last year, so don't knock him. :)

I guess I would count May as a prospect also, and I would guess Meyer would start in Rochester also.

As will Gilmartin.

Is Ibarra officially on the DL starting out?

New today:

Tonkin not listed, though I imagine he goes there when Duensing's paternity leave is over.

Addition: "Right-handed pitchers Matt Guerrier, Kevin Thomas and Virgil Vasquez will open the season on the Red Wings disabled list."

Thanks GM. I guess we'll find out pretty quickly if Ibarra can continue finding his bottle full of lightning like he did last year. That's a good looking SP corp, which can be quickly reinforced with good AA arms should any get the call-up or go on the DL. Obviously, the RPs look a lot better with Tonkin on the roster, but still plenty of other guys who might be ready to step up like the aforementioned, Ibarra, Pressly, Guerra, Hoffman and Thompson.
