After getting my daily dose of TD, I headed to the sports section of the Strib. That got me thinking, who in the heck has been writing Sid's column?

Why would it be someone other than Sid?

Because he's 150 and hasn't had a coherant thought about sports since he was 100.

Sid has been a legend to Minnesota sports history. Sometimes I hate him some times it love him. But, I always find him interesting to listen to. Hope the old fart keeps on keepin on.

The reason I asked the question: I've been looking forward to seeing and reading his column for years. Love him or hate him, the column is always interesting and oftentimes controversial. It is hard for me to believe a 90 something year old man can write so well....just sayin

I've been an occasional reader over the past 8-10 years or so. On the day you posted, I went to Sid's column and it sounded like him. I hadn't heard about anything happening to him that would necessitate a ghost writer (other than being 150 not having a coherent thought about sports since he was 100 - thanks Joe). I guess I just assumed Sid wrote the columns kind of like I used to assume a guy named Franklin W. Dixon wrote those Hardy Boys books.
