The Twins had another off day on Monday, following the long Father’s Day afternoon at Target Field on Sunday. On Monday afternoon, the team flew to Pittsburgh where they will play three inter-league games against the Pirates before heading to Cincinnati for three games against the Reds. In the minor leagues, Monday was the first game for the GCL Twins and Tuesday will be the first game for Elizabethton. I love the Twins Daily Site. It presents to me a lot of insight, angles and intelligence. I love the metrics also, and I understand it is a sabermetric dominated site - but in a way, I find the Twins Daily site a dominated platform for "Metrics" individuals and it can become quite stifling for some. New Britain has an off night, but GCL Twins debuted tonight, sans Byron Buxton and the Elizbethton Twins start tomorrow.
