2/3 of an inning, 4 BBs, 0 Ks, a double and a triple (by Kyle Schwarber!), and 3 ER.

'Nuf said.

March 9: changed "Ws" to "BBs" in response to comments from Louie C.K.

Kyle Schwerber hit a triple?

Did Meyer interrupt nap time for the Angels outfield?

He seemed like a nice guy from his interviews and quotes and his off season job as a teacher. I wish him well in baseball and in life.

4 wins is a pretty good line, though.

Wins... Good one.

Let pretend we believe in short sample sizes:

Still, Meyer has a lower ERA (10.12) than Santiago (12.27) and Nolasco has an 1.80 ERA with 1 BB and 4 K in 5 IPs.

Still amazed that Antony is still around after that trade.

Agree on Antony. It's simply going to take more disappointment for Pohlad to agree to meaningful turnover.

It would surprise me if there is anyone on TD who thinks less than I do about paying Santiago $8M to pitch. Further, there may not be anyone who would think less than I do about paying him $1M to start. He's not part of the future and there may be at least six prospects who don't need much more seasoning and could be at least an equivalent part of the present (May, Berrios, Mejia, Duffey, Wheeler, Haley).
