Cant Trust Berrios

Posted by huhguy , 24 September 2017 · 595 views

If the Twins make it to the Indians, who do you pitch in 3rd game?

Berrios is unpredictable and I wouldnt trust him for game 3

I go with Colon...you?

I would personally go with Colon/Gibson/Santana for the series, setting up Santana and Berrios to pitch if we actually can beat the Yankees in the Wild Card and having Gibson pitch the 163rd game...because he has been so good of late and would be an unexpected pitcher for the Yankees to face.

If you think Colon over Berrios you have not been watching the same Colon starts I have. He's the worst. Berrios should be the Twins #2 starter but I could see Gibson over him.

This is a young team.  You should Berrios out there. He needs his opportunities to prove he can step up in tough situations.  It is part of the learning process.

Line up Berrios to pitch at Target Field. His home/road splits are notably different.
