  1. Saturday in the Minor League Parks

    The Twins lost 9-3 to the As on Saturday night. It was a bad games for the Twins right from the start. Cole De Vries gave up four runs in the first innings, the big blast was a three-run homer off the bat of Chris Carter. The As hit three more homers in the game. The Twins rang the bases really poorly. The offense did very little against the As Tommy Milone. Brian Dozier and Josh Willingham each had solo home runs, but it was far from enough.

  2. Friday Night Minor League Lights

    The Twins got just one run off of Royals starter Luis Mendoza and found themselves down 4-1 going into the bottom of the ninth. Jonathan Broxton came in the Twins scored two off of him. They had the tying run at third base with two outs but were unable to score. The Twins lost 4-3. Saturday will be a long day as the Twins and Royals will play a double header with Game 1 at noon and Game 2 scheduled for 6 p.m.

  3. 2012 Gulf Coast League Twins Season Preview

    Today is the day, and a lot of Twins prospects are pretty excited about their first Opening Day today. The GCL Twins will begin play on Monday at noon (eastern time). Ramon Borrego will manage the team for the third straight year. Former Twins minor leaguer Henry Bonilla will take over pitching coach duties. Milt Cuyler is back for his tenth season with the GCL Twins as hitting (and outfield, base running and more) coach.
