I was wrong to make the comment about you not supporting the Twins. You are a huge supporter and I do appreciate your optimisum. Just sick of watching this team fail miserably vs teams in the AL East year after year.
First of all Jack I am not a homer because I cheer for Twins while living in Texas. Next I believe in everything I wrote and if you don't agree with me thats fine, but there is no need to get personal like that. If you don't like the Twins then don't spend the $3200.
I find your post funny and very predictable. Have you ever criticized the braintrust of this team? We were promised by President Dave St. Peter (who was on Twitter everyday in the winter and now is completely absent) things would be so much better. The team picked up right where they left off in 2011 and nothing has changed. The Pohlad family has promised for years to spend money and has never even come close since we the tax payers built Target Field for them. This team is a joke and we are living the 90's all over again. Why can't you stop being such a HOMER and realize what has taken place. We have been tricked again and finally fans are upset and have every right to be. You live in Texas and don't contribute anything to this regime. I paid $3,200.00 for this crap. You should be ashamed of yourself for always defending the greed of the front office. I pose this question to you. Name the last MLB team that lost 99 games, year 3 of a new ballpark, ranked 4th in attendence in MLB in 2011, had a 95% renewal rate, and cut payroll by $15 million. My guess is you will never find a professional organization that has done so. NEVER!! The Pohlad family is taken advantage of Twins fans by peddaling this horrible product out and telling us they will be competitive. Nothing has changed and even new players don't want to play hard for Gardenhire. I would love to be a door salesman and come to your house. You have bought this gimmick hook, line, and sinker.

Soooo where goes Hollimon, released?
Looking at the current, up-to-date work groups, there are some surprises. Mastroianni, Oliveros, Perdomo, Guerra are with New Britain. Typically players don't move UP on those lists, so there were some surprises, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more surprises and more players are sent down.
Florimon and Mastroianni in New Britain instead of Rochester? Bigley would be starting, then. Looks good otherwise, though I would be surprised if Oliveros wasn't at Rochester as well. Maybe since the Twins have SO MANY AA/AAA players that it does make sense to keep some of the better prospects down at AA for more playing time.
That looks pretty plausible. One thing I notice is that the line between New Britain and Rochester is becoming blurred. Obviously it's due to the fact that many positions have multiple players that are quite similar in skill level. There are probably ten names on this list that should be in Rochester, there just isn't any room for them. There are quite a few guys here that have recently made an appearance at the MLB level as well. Last year the Twins demonstrated that they weren't afraid to call guys up from AA, that could happen again with several of these arms, Florimon or Matroinanni.
Thanks made the change
Travis, Florimon and Beresford have already been "leaked" courtesy of newspaper article quoting Ryan re middle infielders. Don't think Rohlfing made it up.
Is the second Towles on the bench supposed to be Mike Hollimon? If not, where is Hollimon at this year?
Pedro, not Manuel Florimon and he hasn't played a single inning of 3B. Burroughs or Hollimon will be the starting 3B at Rochester (whomever does not make the big team). Also I think that Butera will be in Rochester. Towles has an outside shot to make the Twins, but not Butera, over Hollimon or Burroughs if Gardy wants to go with 3 Catchers. I think Butera is done
Does this mean Drew Butera goes to AA or is that why Towles is listed twice? They don't need 3 catchers with Morneau DH.
Is Vasquez going to start? I'm still hoping Gray winds up filling a slot in that rotation (not in the Twins' bullpen). Anyway, it's already a pretty good AAA lineup, and either Parmelee or Revere could still wind up joining it. And I really like the bullpen - at least three of those guys should be able to earn an extended call-up this year. The good people of Rochester should enjoy watching the Redwings a lot more in 2012.
I guess if Nishioka is hitting there is good reason to keep him around. I retract my criticism. Still the real test is going to be if he can figure out how to play defense. That's going to be tough if Dozier gets the nod at SS and he's stuck at 2B.
Towles catching and on the bench versatility! jk who do you think that other bench guy might be?
Suarez was among those released on Tuesday.
Nishioka had another 3-hit AAA game yesterday. I think it's kind of hard to just give up completely if there is a chance.
It's unfortunate to say, but The Twins should really consider cutting the cord on Nishioka. The Twins don't have much infield talent, but Florimon, Chang and possibly Holliman shouldn't be given reduced playing time in favor of the already failed expirment. None of those three will ever be more than a utility player, but they still look to be more useful than Nishi.
dont sure on Suarez will have to look into it
Didn't Suarez get cut the other day?
