Saw the pics of Eddie - post surgery. It takes a special guy to get back out there and play again. He has a smooth, very fast swing. He is smart and polite and represents the organization well.

He tore up winter ball, and the idea of Eddie and Sano arriving in the MLB simultaneously to start 2015 is intriguing!

Fangraphs did an interview with Ryan O'Rourke, one of Rosario's teammates, who described Rosario as having the quickest hands he's ever seen.

Thanks for this article. It is important to get some perspective on what he did last year and how it really isn't a drop off from 2011 when advancing a level. 2015 should be the time for him to contend for that starting spot.

He is a dangerous 170 lb. hitter

I like Rosario a lot. He feels like a classic overachiever; someone who always exceeds expectations and puts up better numbers than many are anticipating.

Agreed on both. 2013 will be interesting for these two. Cedar Rapids all year?

Yes John, one paragraph of my blog entry was dedicated to that very point you tried to make.

Worley should be better than Esmerling. But that's it.

Remember, this was posted in November....before any of the trades or FA signings of 2013. How can this still be relevant? Did we get anyone better than these four that is MLB ready?

Dont forget Harrison and Kepler. They're big, and their power will show up once they reach their mid-20's. Could be a damm good line-up by 2016-2017

Hey - he was only 20 in Appy and will be 21 for all of A ball. He was a young college kid. If he can keep up his production from league to league - He will be fine. As a 20 year old he was Top 5 in HRs / RBIs / Runs / TBs / SLG % (7th) / & Triples. He does need to drop K %, but I will take other category rankings every year. Between Sano; Vargas; DJ Hicks & Walker - The Twins are getting big and powerful quickly.

Seth recently highlighted Trevor May and his ascent from 4th round pick to #1 Philly prospect in four short years. Jones is a college arm, but could move into the top-10 with a dominant follow-up to his 2012.

Yes Old Goat. I am also concerned about the lack of "buzz" surrounding Jones' secondary pitch(es). Again, he is a converted two-way player, so maybe he has more time to tinker in the pitcher's workshop moving forward. His fastball, and his potential, make him a legit Twins prospect going into 2013.

Harrison did look slow in that clip. He did have good bat speed though.

NO DOUBT! Anyone see Vargas hitting 4, Sano - 5 in Minnesota someday?

Yeah he isn't going to be considered for Minnesota if he doesn't produce at Cedar Rapids
