Twins Hangouts, July 29: Episode 35

As is the Tuesday night tradition, Seth and Jeremy will flood your ears (and eyes, if you're viewing live) with Twins information at 9 pm. We try to keep it to 90 minutes, but fail every time. But we promise: It's all baseball. All the time.
Like Craig Mack said, it's time for brand new flava in ya ear.

Tuesday night's flavor is going to be trade deadline (for those that missed it last week) and minor league.

The Twins are expected to be active before (and after) Thursday's deadline. We'll preview that for you and we'll do it realistically. No, the Orioles aren't giving the Twins Dylan Bundy for Kurt Suzuki and Brian Duensing.

We'll also spin around the minor leagues as we do every week. With the Twins season heading quickly down the crapper, many are turning their interests to the farm system. Well, who better to help get you all caught up.

We'll be here at 9 pm. You should too.

We follow a lot of prospects here at Twins Daily. Do you guys think it is harder for a pitcher or a position player to make it to the big leagues?

Terry Ryan likes to make trades during the August waiver period for some reason. Advantages to this, if any? Seems like you'd lose alot of leverage by trying to make a deal with only the team that claimed the player.
Any concern about Kohl Stewart's shoulder tightness long term? Should the Twins just shut him down for the year?
Just wondering-why would anyone want to trade for the worse pitcher on one of the worse teams in baseball(KC)?
