Josh Roenicke & Minnesota Twins Welcome Home Luncheon

For the second straight year, Ticket King purchased an entire table and attended the Minnesota Twins Welcome Home Luncheon at Target Field which benefits the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. It is a well run event and gives us at Ticket King an excellent opportunity to give back to the community and also to get fired up for the Minnesota Twins season!!!

This year, eight of us joined Minnesota Twins player Josh Roenicke for lunch at Target Field. [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]For those of you who have never had the opportunity to meet Josh Roenicke, let me tell you, he is a great guy. We all had a great time "shooting the breeze" with Josh and he was more than willing to answer any of our questions. It is so refreshing to meet professional athletes that are well grounded, accommodating and just all around nice people!!!

Here are a few interesting things that we learned about Josh:

1) He attended UCLA at the same time that Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love did.
2) He is married with a young daughter.
3) He lives in Florida during the off season.
4) In college, Josh was a centerfielder.
5) In Josh's opinion, the fans in Philadelphia are the rudest.
6) Josh is very happy with the Twins organization and players.
