The complimentary T-shirts will be high-quality triblend Bella + Canvas, in both men’s and women’s styles, perfect for wearing ironically during the Twins 2017 postseason run.

You can only get them at the Pub Crawl, which we announced yesterday will by 9/24. Remember, tickets go on sale this Friday, 9/9 at 8:00 AM. Order immediately, since they’ll no longer be on sale after Monday the 12th, and may sell out before that.

Why I Still Write About Sports at Times Like This

It's been a hard fall for me to write in these spaces. Every evening I try to sit down to write, I find a dozen other things to do. There are papers to grade and recommendations to submit and people to actually be married to. So while I love to write, and even though I want to write, it slips through my fingers more often than I like.

This past week, I had the time, I had the energy, but every time I opened up this page, I stopped and stared. And as the feeds from North Minneapolis streamed into my phone, as people I love and trust engaged in louder and louder protests for more pressing matters than quality sports analysis, I couldn't find it in myself to write.

Save The Date: Twins Daily's Touch 'Em All Pub Crawl!

We’ve waited four long years to watch meaningful September games, so we're going overboard for 2015’s Twins Daily Touch ‘Em All Pub Crawl.

This will be the biggest and best ever. PLEASE set aside the 19th of September, starting at noon on your calendar, then take a minute and tell your friends to set it aside too. While you’re at it, you may want to set a reminder for yourself the morning of Thursday, September 3rd, because that’s when tickets will go on sale, and we only have so much room in some of these bars.

Twins Catcher Tim Laudner Join Twins Daily’s 2015 Winter Meltdown

The guest list for the Twins Daily Winter Meltdown continues to grow!

We're very excited to announce that Tim Laudner will be joining us to talk about the 1987 World Series, catcher framing, moving from player to media, and maybe show off what a World Series ring looks like.

Laudner is best known to Twins fans as being the starting catcher of the 1987 World Champion Twins. In that seven-game Championship series versus the Cardinals, he started every game, hitting .318 (with a .444 OBP).

Available For Preorder: 2015 Offseason Handbook

Now that another tough season has come to a close, it's time to focus on finding ways to reinforce and expedite a rebuilding process that has moved along more slowly than anyone would like.

These next few months will present numerous opportunities to supplement and perhaps restructure a talent-laden young core. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with all those possibilities in the Twins Daily 2015 Offseason Handbook, which is now available for pre-order at a new low price.
