Nice lefty-heavy lineup to take on Kuroda, who was awfully good his last time out.

Good. Who'd they stick in LF then?

Andruw Jones. He's batting seventh and Chavez and Martin are 8 and 9.

They had better keep scoring runs tonight - 4 in not going to be enough - gonna need 7 or 8

    or 15

Marquis fits right in. Took to the whole pitch to contact thing like a natural.

They are going to need 13 pitchers in this game . . .

Saved the lead with a DP. Can't win much of anything with these pitching performances.

Nice to see Casilla get another hit. He's now 6 for his last 19 with 1 walk and 1 strikeout.

Nice 2nd inning for Marquis... would be nice if he can settle down and throw 5 innings tonight. I know, eventually we'll expect more, but for tonight, with all the family there, coming back, having his daughter able to be at the game... the human side has to take over a little. Emotional!

I sure had my doubts about his ability to come back...but, this is SO GREAT to see. Good for him!

Morneau has yet to get a hit against lefties this year.

Yes, because he was always a total strikeout machine up to now.

Good game so far. Love seeing Morneau hitting the cover off the ball.

It's 6-4 Twins but man, I tell ya, a 2-run lead feels like a 3-run deficit when we're playing in the Bronx.
