Glad to see Willingham batting in the 4 spot tonight. You gotta go with what's working right now, and right now Willingham is batting .419

Can our so-called power lefties (M, M, Doumit) put something together, together tonight? It's about time. Go Twins!

Mauer better pull everything tonight, and keep it off the left-field line: Phil Cuzzi is the third-base umpire tonight.

Willingham @ 3rd, Morneau @ 1st, 2 outs... Doumit has an opportunity to show something.
correction: did show something.Last edited by Neinstein; 04-16-2012 at 06:22 PM. Reason: Doumit's hit

How does Valencia even take at-bats that are that awful? It's not like Garcia's up there throwing like Justin Verlander...

Four two-out hits by the Twins: double by Mauer, RBI single for Willingham, single for Morneau, and RBI single for Doumit. Nice hitting by the guys who are supposed to supply it.

Should have been like 4-0 after the first. Attempting to steal in that situation, against the Yanks, with Carrol running, Mauer coming up, followed by 4 and 5 hitters.....I don't get it. You need a lot more than 1 run vs this team.

And Pavano literally could not have coughed that lead up any faster.

Okay Pavano, move quickly through these next two innings.

Twins Minor League Report (6/17): It's a Miracle
It was a relatively slow day in the world of Twins Baseball with only two of the five ball clubs active. Though that didn't prevent us from hearing some pretty newsworthy things. Twins first...
