Willingham not looking good in the 4 hole. Morneau looking great in the 5 hole. Maybe it's the hole itself.

Morneau has hit the ball hard all night, nice to see, and see him playing first.

Can we hit 2 guys from the 5 hole? Let's find out.

I really don't want to see Capps make this interesting. Lets go, 1-2-3!

Morneau plays grounder and makes the out himself at 1st.....no sign of a concussion as of yet.

lol... That's perfect... Maybe Gardy can submit his lineup with no cleanup hitter. It will be Mauer followed by 5A and 5B. Kind of like no 13th floor at the hotel.

Great win tonight... I only got to see the last couple innings and some highlights but what I thought was fantastic about today's win is that all 7 rbi's were hit by different players. Everyone was in on this win including pavano bouncing back to shut down the Yankees offense

Seriously... Loved it. Guys getting dirty... Making plays... Key hits... Anything is possible. That was a well played game. Now they gotta do it again tomorrow.

That really felt good. So many nice surprises tonight (Casilla's D, and a little offense too, Morneau back at 1B and hitting p-rods, Mauer hitting with a little power, Pavano pitching well, bullpen not imploding, and on and on it goes.... well). Let's get 3 out of 4!

Good for Pavano, best pitched game of the year and runs on the 1st. Be nice if Liriano can deliver.

I don't want to get too worked up over one game, but this was so refreshing. The Twins were the better team. They were more aggressive, hit better, made some plays in the field and appeared unintimidated. After losing a two run lead in four pitches, they put together a couple of good innings. Pavano really settled down and showed what a pitcher can do, even without a 90 mph fastball. If the Twins are going to be competent, they need to score 800 runs, if they are going to contend, they need to score more than that. Their pitching won't be dominant, but it can be competent. I especially like the two fine plays that Casilla made (a good turn of a DP and a diving stop) and the fact that everybody contributed to the win. In New York. Against the Yankees. On national cable.

Anyone else notice that games broadcast on New Yorks "YES" network has awsome sound? You can really hear the true snap of the catchers glow and thwap of the wooden bat. When can FSN get that kind of sound?
