Wait a minute - I thought Plouffe was banned from the infield after last year.

Can you please explain WHY Alex Burnett is going to make the roster???? WHYYYYYYYY the guy has been terrible for 2 plus years and has had a terrible camp.

In this morning's game versus Boston, judging by Jim Crikket's twitter feed, it sounds like Baker looked a lot better. There may be hope yet....

Bottom of the 2nd inning starts with singles by Morneau, Willingham and Doumit to load the bases (good speed on the bases there! HA!). Valencia singled in Morneau (1-0). Willingham scores on a Parmelee ground out (2-0). Dozier infield single scores Doumit (3-0). Span singles in Valencia (4-0). Plouffe singled in Dozier (5-0). (inning continuing)

After a Mauer fielder's choice, Morneau doubles over RF head to score Span (6-0).

Man, Morneau has been hot recently. Praying that holds over.

Valencia double off the wall. Safe to say that Kevin Correia isn't exactly at the top of his game today, like he normally is.

Ryan Doumit is heating up at the right time. The question is will there be enough at bats for him.

Dozier singles in Valencia. Then Span singles. Then Plouffe doubled home Dozier. Mauer grounds out to score Span. 10-0. I like this offense!

Seth,
I really like the offense with Parmelee starting at 1B, Morneau as the full time DH, and Plouffe and Doumit sharing time in right field. I feel bad for Revere who deserves to play everyday. My guess is Span or Revere will be traded in July when Joe Benson is ready. I also feel just terrible for Kyle Waldrop who got injured and was put on the 15 day DL. I'm scared to death of the starting rotation and bullpen. Who gets the final bullpen spot now Jeff Gray?Last edited by Fanatic Jack; 03-31-2012 at 01:26 PM.

Joe Mauer with a 3-run double off the LF wall to give the Twins a 13-0 lead. Span and Plouffe each recorded their 3rd hit of the day prior to the double.

@BrianDozier's 3rd HR of the spring gives #Twins a 15-1 lead. He's good, and on the cover of my book, and there's a big story filled with qotes from him!! http://www.lulu.com/shop/seth-stohs/...-18828149.html

Caleb Thiebar gets to pitch the ninth inning for the Twins. The Northfield native signed with the Twins late last season, becoming the first player the Twins have signed from the St. Paul Saints.
First batter - Matt Hague, homered on first pitch. Hague's 6th home run of the spring.
