Luke Hughes with a 1st inning HR, his fourth of the spring, to give the Twins a 1-0 lead. Fair to say he's seeing the ball pretty well right now!

In the offseason GM Handbook, I worte that I thought the Twins should give Luke Hughes that 2B job with Alexi Casilla as the utility guy. I still like that plan.

    exciting lineup today!
Nice to see Blackburn again.. it's been a while.
Revere's speed is needed at least off the bench, Utility OF? That is, if the Parmelee RF day 3 experiment continues to go well.
    Benson further auditions his talents.
hughes and Burroughs are under a spot light today.
    exciting stuff!

Hughes is making a bit of a statement. Another RBI.

And here comes his Aussie buddy James Beresford to run for him.

Hughes has definitely shown that he wants to play.

If Carroll doesn't hit once the season starts, have to wonder how long it would be before you'd see Casilla back at SS and Hughes at 2B.

I'd expect an infield of Dozier at SS and Hughes at 2B... although Carroll will get plenty of string, and he should.

Benson just struggles to make contact. Not a good sign.
