I know we have a number of TD regulars that have trips scheduled for spring training. who do we have down in Florida this week? Anyone going to the early game? Interested in the battle for center field.
Love to see Benson step up and force his way onto the opening day roster.

I'd have gone to the game, but things at Jet Blue Park are so much different than Hammond Stadium. No one is allowed into the B game today. Seems to be alot of that over there, which leaves alot of Sox fans coming to Hammond, not thrilling us Twins fans. They come with their Sox jerseys and caps, and push to get Twins autographs. That seems to be the norm for those NE'ers.
The weather today is much like yesterday, cool, cloudy and still. We'll see if the Twins bats remain hot.

from LEN on Twitter
Alex Meyer looked sharp in his two inning stint, giving up one hit (double down the line) while striking out three.
Six up, six down for Berrios.
Wonder who these guys are facing this morning?

The early game was a 4-0 loss. Wonder how many major leaguers the Bosox played in today's game? Still very nice to see that both Berrios and Meyer pitched well.

I root for all Twins to step up, but Benson especially so because there's a slight domino effect if he can claim CF: it places Mastroianni in his natural role as 4th outfielder, replacing someone defensively in late innings where they are leading and pinch-hitting (for SS) or pinch-running (for LF or 1B) when they are behind, *and* lets the GM keep Hicks in AAA for extra seasoning if that is his judgement.

Looks like Morneau is on fire so far this season. 3-run double? YUP!

More worried about Plouffe preforming at the major league level in the field, rather than his hitting. the guy has the tools, just can't consistently make the plays. It has to be frustrating for him along with everyone else.

Sounds like Hendriks has done alright this game. 3 shutout innings, only giving up 3 singles.

masty doubles off of Gausman.
I still think the CF job is his to lose at this point.

I hate Spring Training. The Twins offense looks so dominant, and then April will come and they'll have an offense ranked 20-30 probably.
