Kevin Gausman was my pick for the Twins to take in the 2012 draft. That said, I'm really happy with the Byron Buxton selection!

Are people actually watching these games somewhere (other than in person). mlbtv.com? Just curious -- and wondering why the Phillies have been mlb network for 3 times in the last 4 days (I think) -- all except the game with the Twins.

I just have gameday going at work and take a peek every now and then to see how it's going.
I'd put it on the radio if I were at home.

I brought a radio to work so I could listen to the games.

I'm streaming the radio broadcast on mlb.tv.. There's no video for today's game.

I can't help it, but I am liking what I hear so far this spring. They are scoring runs in bunches.

Fien 1-2-3 top of the 6th, Fly out, two ground outs.

Dozier walk, Clete Thomas double, Escobar just knocked in a RBI with a sac fly.

It looks like Mauer, Morneau and Willingham all had good days at the plate today. That gives me some comfort, assuming that they can stay healthy. And Mastro was 2 for 3.

Not just 2 for 3, but 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. If he keeps that up, he'll win that that opening day CF job.

Barring injuries, offense should be better than that. There are plenty of guys on it who should be performing at or better than league average for their position...

pitching and defense on the other hand...

Former Twins: 1-11 with 2 K's. Not a good line for them. The three CF candidates have so far done a good job at making the decision hard for Gardy. It will be interesting to see how this battle continues to play out over the next month+.

Does anyone have insight what kind of doubles these were? The ringing kind that score a decent runner from first? Or the kind where Darin legged out what might have been singles for most players?

Having these two mash in the middle would be nice.
