I don't see Doyle making the team unless someone else gets hurt or completely falls apart.

agreed. Today is the day that Doyle has to make good on his exit back to Minor League camp. It was great to see him battle with the rest. Overall a great ST for him if today goes well.

Marquis needs to pitch well today. He hasn't shown much so far.

You gotta love these Dangle games toward the last roster cuts.
Marquis won't have very many excuses today with this starting defense.
I'm anxious to see how he performs against this Boston lineup. Could get interesting.

The difference is that Marquis isn't competing for a roster spot. He'll be starting for the Twins in the regular season, so his numbers aren't hugely important other than for his own goals, of course.

Absolutely, I wasn't very clear about that.
Looking back, I didn't mean for that post to seem so negative. You get 'em Jason! I hope.

1-0 Twins on groundout by Willingham.

Mauer had doubled Carroll to 3rd, and Morneau walked prior to the groundout.

1-0 after 1 1/2. Revere singled Doumit to 3rd, but apparently they had a hit/run going with 2 strikes on Casilla.

He k'd and Revere was out on Batter Interference.

Span flied out to end the inning.

3-2 on 2 out rbi single by Willingham, after Mauer/Morneau did their jobs in advancing the runner on ground outs.
