Is this game on TV anywhere? Anyone know? MLB.tv maybe?
IN the bottom of the 1st, Span gets on base, steals 2nd and Plouffe coaxes a walk against the RHed Archer. Mauer works a 3-1 count....and then lofts a soft liner to the opposite field for the first out. UGH. Morneau flies out to center (I think on the 1st pitch.) Willingham grounds to short.
I was really disappointed in that Mauer at-bat. It's one thing to do that on a 3-2 pitch, but on 3-1, he's gotta be looking to pull that ball, especially with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs.

Bottom of 1st, Span singled, Plouffe walked; Mauer, Morneau and Willingham fail to bring them in

Sounds like Liriano is looking really sharp. 93 on the fastball, 84 on the slider for the 2nd inning strikeouts.

John, the game isn't on mlb.tv so I'm not sure if you'll be able to find it anywhere.
I really like what I'm seeing from Span so far this spring. He's hitting over .500 and even has 2 SB's today.-Jake-

Listening to game... man, Cory Provus is good. I think I can finally enjoy listening to games on the radio again. Twins (radio network) made a good hire.

The Minnesota Twins may not have received a very good start from Scott Diamond, but all four Twins minor league starters pitched very well on Saturday night. Each of them pitched into the 7th inning...
