I hate it when I check the score in the first inning and Twins are already behind.
On the board.
Wow, the system does not like this thread. I think I have it fixed now.
I'm not sure if I'm getting the best of the deal when I have to watch the Royals announcers. Dickbert v. Hudler is a knock - down drag out if I've ever seen one.
Rex Hudler might be worse than Hawk. Really, I'm not joking. I had to listen to him for many years when I lived in LA and followed the Angels.
He was busted for marijuana possession because he walked through an airport metal detector with weed shoved down his pants... Weed wrapped in tin foil.
He may be the dumbest man on the planet.
I wish that Plouffe would hit one so hard that he injures a Royals fan who is sitting in the upper deck.
If you listen to the man speak for more than a few minutes, you realize that he's either stoned every waking moment or he's just really, really dumb.
I don't call people on television stupid often but christ... I mean, there's just no other way to describe Hudler. He's constantly tossing out jewels like "what the Angels need to do here is score more runs... that's how you win ballgames" or "things are going bad when you give up a home run" or "what the (list infielder) needed to do there was catch the ball".
Really, it's jaw-dropping at times. I listened to the guy for what seemed to be an eternity (probably more like 6-7 years) and he never failed to toss out a few statements so stunningly dense every season that everyone in the room would stop for a moment and just look at one another silently. It's as if he was actually trying to sound that idiotic... Except he wasn't.
