With Butera in the lineup and Morneau going against a tough lefty, Twins might have a tough time generating offense tonight. Hopefully the good Frankie shows up.

It was in jest, but the other one I was referring to was Morneau who is sporting a .093/.110/.203 line against LHP this year. Against LHP Morneau needs to be dropped in the lineup at the very least, in a perfect world I would like to see this lineup against LHP until Morneau gets his **** together:Quote:

Interesting. They just said on the telecast that the opening home run Pittsburgh hit last night should have only been a ground rule double. Apparently (and they showed the rule) once it bounced off the fence it became a "bounding ball" which, if it goes out of play off a fielder, is only 2 bases.

Apparently Willingham didn't realize it had bounced off him and they couldn't see it from the dugout.
It's a little frustrating to see the Twins put two pitchers at the back of the lineup in tonight's game. Add in Morneau against a lefty and 1/3 of this lineup is entirely useless.
