Sorting OPS.....If Plouffe were qualified, coming into tonight, he'd be right between Kubel and Pierzinski...odd.
Win Twins.

Just noticed that San Diego now has the worst run differential in the MLB, supplanting the Twins. Moving on up!
We'll, that depends upon if and how badly we get beat tonight.Last edited by Ultima Ratio; 06-14-2012 at 09:15 PM. Reason: Second line caveat

Noticed that Mauer was steeling the catchers signs and indicating that change up to Willingham. The catcher noticed this and went to a secondary set of signs, using the mask, shin guard and chest protector to call the slider that struck Willingham out. Love picking up on little stuff like that...

Not a good effort at the plate tonight. Seems like we have this sort of game at least once a week.

Two pretty terrible losses. Philly hasn't scored runs all year, but seemingly score at will all series against Twins pitching. Twins get runs last night but the Walters fiasco puts them in too big a hole, then tonight Joe F'ing Blanton, the Nick Blackburn of the Phillies, tosses a complete game at them.

I am mystified by the inability to get hits off Blanton. Were the hitters TOO anxious/aggressive? Too overconfident after last night's scoring? Or just unfocused?
