One more performance like that and many might get their wish--a DFA for Gray.

Another win! Good to see the offense pick up the slack tonight! Hopefully Frank can go at least 5 innings tomorrow, especially with Blackburn set to go on Wednesday...

Those 5th inning HRs by Morneau and Plouffe were important. Jared Burton is looking nasty. Burnett did a nice job, Carroll, and yes, Capps closing it out. They win this series they're in striking distance of .500. It's an offense now.

Good win. Nice little run the team is on. Great to see them scoring runs and hitting some long balls. Liked the showing by the bullpen other than Gray. Let's keep building on this.

Casilla has been a tease since he got here, it's amazing that the Twins stuck with him this long. However, Fangraphs suggests that the Twins have the best second-base defense in baseball, with the best range factor, double play rate and UZR, and the second place teams aren't even close. Casilla has been at second 90% of the time, with an FLD rate at third overall in baseball, despite his occasional inexplicable error, like tonight.

It has been fun to watch, even though we are on a similar path as last year where we got into a nice little run in June, playing the "JV" part of the schedule with numerous regulars starting to hit the DL. and guys no one knew anything about contributing to a string of somewhat inexplicable wins. At least this year, this run is happening with some power production. I really like Willingham in the 3 spot there tonight. I would love to see Revere in the 9 spot when Mauer comes back, with JoJo finally taking the #2 slot on a regular basis.
