Nice fastball by DeVries to end the inning.

Does anyone still think Casilla has a future? Over 1000 ABs, and he still can't hit or field. He's just not good.
    Win Twins.

Morneau crushes one. That was a no-doubter.

He makes some nice plays then makes horrible errors. And his hitting is mediocre. But until we get someone better, he needs to play.

Nice homer. Morneau is swinging a hot bat right now! We need it! 2 run lead isnt enough though

I agree. He probably has no real future with the team, but right now he's the best they can do.

Nice HRs for Morneau and Plouffe. Great comeback from a bad 4th inning.

With all the high draft picks that the Royals have enjoyed, you would think that their pitching would be better.

Plouffie is accumulating homers at a rapid pace. If he keeps this up, half his hits are going to be HRs.

And the Plouffe should play every day train continues. His OPS is now over 700, even after the awful start. I predict it is close to .800 in a month.
    Win Twins.

He teases us with his little hot streaks, but overall he has been extremely mediocre and his window is definitely closing.

Where is Bark? As a Plouffetist, he must be loving this.

I agree they don't have a better option than Casilla right now, but really, I hope I never hear him mentioned as "young" and "part of the future" ever again.
    Win Twins.

Wow, Royals are hitting line drives right at the Twins fielders. Hopefully his luck can continue...

His fielding actually hasn't been that bad this year - tonight's gaffe excepted - but his bat needs to wake up a bit. He hit better the last two years, and if he can regain that, he's a solid part of the lineup.

I would give DeVries some credit for pitching a good inning.

I will give him credit for throwing strikes and getting 3 quick outs, but you have to admit that the Royals hit the ball very hard that inning.

    I fully admit that.
