I would love to hear Gardenhire's explanation for why Gray was pitching the 8th inning of a tie game.

Regression kicks Cook right in the nuts.
I got a screenshot of it here
Looks like a crude tattoo of a target with crosshair and a piercing thing in the bullseye
M&M boys getting it done! Now let's get some insurance runs.
Here he comes to wreck the dayyyyyyyyyyyyy
Guess he still had some crisco on his hand, or was it bardol , maybe vagisil????
Got the save. Not pretty though. 21 pitches 11 for balls
Atta boy, Capps! It wasn't pretty, but he got the job done.
Cat Mapps!!!!!
HOORAY!!! Finally a win.
"The book" says never to intentionally walk the lead run. Also, there were two out when they passed Reddick to pitch to a far inferior hitter (and RH hitter) in Gomes. Capps would have had to get both Fielder and Boesch to secure the save, both of whom are LH hitters. Cabrera is a great hitter, but the Twins had done a good job with him his last three ABs.
I know I shouldn't criticize Gardy, because for all his faults, he's still a much better manager than I could ever be. But some of his decisions do make me scratch my head.
Capps got it done Twins won!
Thanks Thrylos. I guess I was right. I wonder what it represents? Does Crisp have a fetish that dictates that he wants to be shot through the neck by a hit man? I guess The evolution of physical self expression still has the wind blowing into its sail. I suppose it is better than getting a tribal tattoo or plugs inserted into one's ear lobes.
I am generally quite pleased with Diamond so far. After giving up two early solo homeruns, he could have imploded but wound up pitching into the 7th inning and giving up only 3 runs. Those are the kinds of outings we need. Keep it up.
Dozier & Hammer have been slumping, they need to get it going again and the SP has been much better of late.
