Brian Dozier has had a rough week. He gets the afternoon off today.

3 for 20 in his last 5 games with more than a few fielding blunders. This is a perfect time for a day off to regroup. With our pitching, we really need his glove in the field everyday making plays.

And we start by walking the first batter then giving a hit to the second batter and missing the cutoff man. Runners on second and third with no outs. Walters is having trouble throwing strikes.

Nice heads up play by Casilla tagging out a slumbering Cabrera. But we are already down 1-0.

Wow, Span gets a hit for that? A big league second baseman makes that play 49 out of 50 times.

Hey, that extra "hit" increased his trade value.

Ugh....Mauer and Morneau both smoked the ball that inning but they hit it right at the outfielders.

Probably closer to 97 out of 100.

Nice AB by Mauer -- made Porcello throw a lot of pitches then gave him a nasty bruise.

    Did Porcello deliberately hit Willingham?

And now we hit Peralta after Tigers steal second. Seems fair to me.

Plouffe had no chance to get to first with Porcello diving in front of him like that.

Walters is living dangerously, but so far has been able to work his way out of trouble.

Nice gapshot by Mauer! A well-clocked ball.

Everytime Fat Crapps takes the mound I get nervous. The guy doesn't inspire confidence
