Nice to see Mornie at 1st again, will be interesting to see how Diamond fares with Joe catching 2nd time around............................not that I think Butera should be playing instead, I'm not a big believer in personal catchers.

Nice to see Plouffe at 3B. I hope they keep running him out there... see if he can cut it.

I guess Revere is taken out because he's a left handed batter and we have a lefty pitching against us. Hoping for a 4th win in a row for Diamond.

Don't look now, Mastroianni, but Danny Valencia is batting .293 at Rochester, with a couple of home runs. Today would be a good game to get your batting average back up above the Plouffe Line.

Last chance for Mastro? I can't see them continuing with a team that has Revere, Komatsu, and Mastro. Isn't this game #43?

I don't know about the latter but I agree with the first bit.

I personally don't wanna see Valencia back with the Twins until he has got rid of his prom queen attitude. A little humility will go along way, even help his batting AVG

I know this may be a bit picky, but isn't this game 43, not 42?

What about wilkin ramirez and eventually Valencia again and send down mastro and kamatsu. You still have revere who can be a 4th outfielder/spark off the bench/pinch-run, and ramirez who can hit for power while playing the corners/dh. Just a though but I think you could have a lot more MLB looking lineups and bench options that way...... I have a feeling Valencia will be back up fairly soon... Before all-star break? And if Plouffe gets his bat going we might have a consistent looking lineup (barring injury).

    Span
    dozier
    Mauer
    willingham
    morneau
    doumit
    valencia
    plouffe
    carroll

You are saying he would go back to the Nats if we don't keep him on the 25 man roster...right?

Well an ugly start for Carroll. Dunno what has got into him. Maybe the shift back to 2nd? At least the damage was limited to 1 run. Diamond is looking good so far.

The Plouffe Line keeps getting farther out of reach for poor Mastro.

Later update: E9. That might be just about it for Darin.

Further update: being pinch-hit for by Casilla can not be a good omen for one's major league stay.
