White Sux... nice. It would be nice to see Span and Revere get on base a few times tonight and run around a bit, cause some chaos.

Or they don't believe in signing a ton of re-treads every year. Only Humber this year and he's had one good outing.

And they don't believe in pitching to impact.

This is the guy Cuddy stole three bases on in one game last year. With Span, Revere, Carroll, and Casilla, there are guys to swipe bases if the game is close and they are getting on base.

Why wait until the game is close if you can run all over the place on him? I say start it off right away if you can.

The Twins have the perfect guy to get back to their winning ways against. Gavin Floyd's line v. the Twins: 4-10, 5.67 ERA. Reason why Casilla is in the lineup: in 17 AB, he has a .412 BA v. Floyd. Other Twins hitting well against Floyd: Mauer-38 AB, .421 BA, 3 HR; Span-26 AB, .500 BA; Willingham-5 AB, .400 BA; Morneau-26 AB, .231 BA, 2 HR (Morneau doesn't have a great avg, but he does have two HR's); Revere-7 AB, .286 BA; Carroll-13 AB, .308 avg. Dozier and Doumit are the only two Twins who haven't faced Floyd before, and therefore have had no chance to rack up gaudy numbers versus him.

The only two White Sux player that have faced Walters is Kosuke Fukudome and Dunn

Sure. That is correct. Run in the early innings, run later in the day if the game is still close. Hopefully, the Twins get opportunities throughout the whole game.

I fully expect a "take that!" performance from AC for that!

Don't most games start pretty close?

Looks like Floyds fastball is tailing away from the lefties.

Well, that didn't take too long. Could be a long night for Walters

2nd inning AB for Dozier might have been his ugliest of the season. Everyone's entitled, though.

Living in Chicago, this is the first game I've actually been able to watch on TV. Unfortunately it means I have to listen to Hawk Harrelson and Steve Stone - sometimes humorous with how painfully awful they are.
Nice 2ndinning going for the Twins

I did read somewhere that the Twins, especially Gardy, were expecting Walters to have a little trouble with the gopher ball, because, according to Gardy, the way he attacks the strike zone. But never mind that now, Casilla has continued his good hitting against Floyd by doubling and scoring two runs! And then, next batter, Carroll singles in Casilla and then takes 2nd on the throw! Go Twins!

Did the Sox sign Marquis last night and throw him in the rotation?

Carroll scores from 3rd after a wild pitch gets him to 3rd and a single from Span drives him in.
