Wow, look at that lineup. I think Gardy may have been replicated by alien pod people.

Is this start for Parmelee out of sympathy? Will he get sent down after the game to make room for Morneau, or will they actually go down to 12 pitchers? Since they'll be in an NL park this weekend, you'd think that the Twins would want the bench flexibility, but then again ...

Might as well give Span a rest - he's started all but 1 game this season, and he's hitting .205 over the last 10 games.

Updating a previous item, Denard Span is out Tuesday due to a sore hamstring.
It's nothing major and Span is available off the bench. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Who is twirling for the Tribe? I'm wondering if it's a lefty. Also, if Gardy prefers Carroll at third and Casilla at second (as they are aligned today) why has Casilla played third when he has replaced Plouffe?

So in his pre-game comments Gardy doesn't see how they can go down to 12 pitchers.
Great, to interleague ball with a weak bench and bloated staff. Should work great.

Dozier hitting 5th? Sounds like runs! This team is desperate for at least one more RH power bat.

Ok, time to pick up Marquis, escaped a lead off triple, time for a run or two

Good thing that the Twins can only hit into one DP per inning, because if they could do it more they would.

It's a shame mastro didnt lead off the game with a single so they'd have a chance at a GDP in every inning.

How Are AA Pitchers Approaching Miguel Sano?
Last week, I was in the right place at the right time: the AA debuts of top Twins' prospect Miguel Sano and Eddie Rosario. One big takeaway from Sano's and Rosario's first couple AA games was that...
