You know it's bad when your team's highlight so far is cutting off a throw to home.

The Twins are now 10 for their last 62 w/RISP.
In 19 games they've kept the opposition to 3 runs or less a grand total of two times, and one of those games they lost.
In comparison the other teams pitchers have kept the Twins to 3 runs or less 11 times out of 19.

Yeah it's been hard to watch. Hopefully it evens out sooner rather than later. Just keep thinking the bad times will balance to some good times.

Does anyone else drink a lot more when the Twins play like this? ....................how about constantly posting every thought that runs through your head?

No way I could type that fast.... It would be something like this...
Plouffe... That curve was hung... Must not have been looking for the deuce... The cat just walked past... Hey kitty... Fine walk right past me like you own the house. Nice to have Ben back in the majors... I hope he ropes another one just to show everybody on twins daily how hes a spark plug. Get off the coach Cat... Your gonna get fur all over. Plouffe struck out. Need a key hit... RISP... Just saw a stat posted on that. Plouffe and Beloit are both sounds produced when you drop a quarter in the toilet. Plouffe and Beloit... That's funny.
What honey... No the cat is not on the coach.

Godawful
This is so frustrating on so many levels, but the 2 things that really get me are:
1) It may sound cliche, especially with the frequency Blyleven says it, but it starts and ends with starting pitching. Not only is our rotation awful, but there's not much reason to hope that they'll be able to turn it around.
2) This is a weak and therefore winnable division. Detroit and Cleveland are losing big. Once those games go final, nobody in the division will be more than 2 games over .500. (No, not even the mighty Tigers.) You don't need to be much more than an average team to at least hang around within striking distance, and the Twins can't even do that. This is the where we to thrive. While the rest of the AL Central floundered, the Twins would step forward and take the division. But there's no sign of the potential for that this year.

Hi everybody! Quality start update: 3/19
With Swarzak pitching now, who's making the start in place of Liriano?Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains.

Twins Minor League Report (6/17): It's a Miracle
It was a relatively slow day in the world of Twins Baseball with only two of the five ball clubs active. Though that didn't prevent us from hearing some pretty newsworthy things. Twins first...
