Cracked.com (http://www.cracked.com/article_20625_5-petty-arguments-you-wont-believe-have-scientific-answers.html)had a silly post today about scientific answers to silly questions, including what is the catchiest song. The answer, "We are the Champions" by Queen.

I don't quite agree - it'll stick in your head but I heard Billy Squier's "In the Dark" (not a good song) but that sucker stuck in my head for a week. :banghead:

This has my vote. Every time it comes up on my playlist I just want to dance down the street, or around the room, or down the aisles of the store ... wherever I am. And I don't dance. At least not what anyone else would call dancing.

MARK RONSON - GOD PUT A SMILE UPON YOUR FACE - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVxYkWCJ4BU)

It really grooves. ;)

That's a happy kind of music. 5829

I've been known to get hung up on a particular song for days, to the annoyance of anyone around me. After seeing a particular Tarantino movie, I antagonized my son with these renditions (among many fun covers) of Chick Habit:
