wouldn't it be appropriate for Garza to come back here? No harm, no foul.

Make it happen TR.

If Garza is fire and Anderson is ice, I'll take a Zippo worth of Garza over a glacier worth of Anderson.

Anyway, it'll never happen, but fun to speculate. Here's how I picture Zippo Garza:

Lack of arms may hurt his velocity, but you can tell by the eyes that he's a competitor...

If you can make that spit, you win.

Could be tough. Would it be enough if he just battles his flint off?

Marta- The inside word is that Anderson will be rewarded in his retention and is in the process of increasing his portfolio with the Twins. Reportedly, he will have input on all prospective future arms acquired by the club. That will keep down the potential fire and ice situations with the likes of Garza, Lohse, Slowey and Dickey (like Slowey, it hasn't been widely reported, but not only is Dickey an avid reader of the classics, he stated if he wasn't a pitcher he'd be an English professor, and he has written a best-seller, as well....... http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/08/r-a-dickey-escapes-pregame-monotony-for-the-wonderful-world-of-books/.... (http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/08/r-a-dickey-escapes-pregame-monotony-for-the-wonderful-world-of-books/.....now)
it's becoming ever clearer why Dickey was so prematurely shown the door, such a distraction......quoting Tolkien and such).

Like Icy Hot? They can make the pain go away? After 3 crappy years I could go for that.

Are there still problems that exist between Garza and Anderson? I don't picture Garza returning but that's got more to do with the state of the organization and not a strong dislike of Rick Anderson.

The Ray's are willing to forgive and forget if it= winning.
Upton was Delmon's main Nemesis and he is long gone.

Is this actually true?

Is this actually true?
If it is, he would be getting promoted for being the pitching coach for the worst performing pitchers in MLB. Sounds crazy
