IMAGINE HAVING THE NEXT BRYCE HARPER OR - 08.19.13 - SI Vault (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1208346/1/index.htm)

We've all seen a pretty incredible year of baseball by these two guys. If they end up being half as good as this article is saying they can be, the offense could be scary in the next couple years. Now the front office just needs to do something about the starting rotation.

After the Astros passed on him to take shortstop Carlos Correa with the top pick, Buxton fell to the organization that had targeted him since the summer of 2009, when Powell first saw him play as a 15-year-old in a travel-team game. Powell had called Johnson that day to tell him that he had found the player who would be at the top of the Twins' draft board three years hence.

Love it.

That was an excellent article. The last line killed me though:
"But then you see these two young men in person, you realize everything you've heard about them is true, and you can't help but believe, and dream."

I made trips to see Cedar Rapids (@ Kane County, I was living in Chicago) and New Britain (@ Reading, I moved to PA) this year. Buxton was sitting with a thumb injury and Sano was being benched for disciplinary reasons.

I was totally stoked by this until I clicked on the article linked below. A list of the only other prospect duo's since 1990 from the same system and in the BA Top 5. Yes they all became MLB players, but only a few were/are true stars.
