I saw this article while reading the thread about Guerra:

Morneau returns from successful Classic stint | twinsbaseball.com: News (http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130313&content_id=42706776&notebook_id=42706994&vkey=notebook_min&c_id=min)

"It was cool," Morneau said. "It was something I'll never forget for sure. Being in there with Joe back there catching, me hitting and Perkins pitching, it's not too often something like that happens with teammates facing each other in a big situation like that."

I was at the game and was looking forward to this matchup. Morneau and Mauer chatted for five seconds before Joe took up his crouch, and I would give a nickel to know what pleasantries were exchanged. The fantasy is, "fastball, down the middle. After that we play for keeps." Sure enough, Justin smoked the first pitch to right field. I'm virtually certain no such Bull Durham dialog took place, but I enjoy the thought.
