Stumbled across this story this morning. The Twins have signed Patrick Arnold, a former Nationals farmhand. His minor league numbers don't exactly jump out (http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=arnold001pat). Sure enough, he's coming back from an injury. But he seems like a quality guy who is pretty involved with his community:

Arnoldís also helping encourage young baseball players to continue playing the game here closer to home.

The West Virginia Baseball Conference will field teams for 13- to 14-year-old kids, and the games will be played at the Kennedy Center along Route 2 outside of Huntington.

If youíre interested in signing up, contact Danís Sports Shop at (304) 523-1974.

Welcome to the Twins, Patrick.

Finally, the front office has really been trying and they really care lately with all of these minor league signings.
