That spleen surgery really did a number on him.

I see Today's post from TwinkieTown also points this out.

Looks like he lost some weight. Should be expected after losing your spleen though.

When is the quote about penciling him into the rotation going to squeak out?

Looks like his inner black man got the best of him.

What I like is this (emphasis below : )
Feb 19, 2013; Fort Myers, FL, USA; Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Carl Pavano (48) poses for a portrait during photo day at Hammond Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
So Mr Hingle needs to mandatorily get credit for Pavano's transformation

And if anyone is interested to know who that young man pictured is, it is.... Brandon Boggs

I am going to assume that Luke's post was a good-hearted attempt at humor, and would note that it appears that someone (perhaps another moderator) has already deleted Luke's post (although it has been quoted by others).
Please let's all be sensitive to the fact that comments relating to race, gender and sexual identity can be offensive, even when there is no pejorative intent. TD encourages humor and attempts at humor, but please be thoughtful about how something might be interpreted by someone who does not know the author.
