Here is the challenge: Find the one who is different than the others. That's the game. I'll let it run until I return from Fort Myers early April. The first person who will guess who is different that the othersand why, will win a game used bat of a Twins' first round pick.

And you have to guess in the comments section here (http://tenthinningstretch.blogspot.com/2012/03/contest-do-you-know-your-twins-game.html).

Shoot :)

the winner will be announced early April

I have the answer, but I'm not going to post at your blog (don't have a sign in, don't want one.)

Rod Carew is the only Twins HOF member who is also a member of another team's HOF (Angels.)

Someone can now take my answer and go post on Thrylos' blog.

This is the most silly and vague contest question I've ever heard. There are literally dozens of ways it could be answered correctly.

Like Chief said, this is kind of arbitrary... but my guess (posted on the coments). Jim Rantz is the only guy who never actually played a MLB game for the Twins.

I wonder if any of them were an actual twin - i.e. had a bother or sister born on the same day.

Jim Rantz is the only one still employed by the organization and employed in the same postion he is best known for. TK and Oliva have helped as spring training instructors, and Blyleven is an announcer, but Rantz is still in the front office.

Seems like someone (almost) gave the correct answer but in the wrong place ;)

Wait...did Herb Carneal and Calvin Griffith play in Twins games? On the blog someone said Jim Rantz is the only one who didn't...that can't be right

Gary Gaetti is the only one to play Splinter.

I also have a trivia question for you guys to answer.

Only several times in Twins history has THIS happened. What is THIS?

Winner will get the RF foul pole from Target Field.

It' a trick question. None of them are different. The only Twin who was different was Bernardo Brito.

This "contest" seems like a rather non clever attempt at advertising another persons blog. Not sure what this adds to the discussion and worse off it appears the original poster has no plans on giving up his precious "Game used Bat" reward. I think a banning is in order.

I second the motion, all in favour say "I".
