After missing 21 game, the Minnesota Twins make it official, announcing that third baseman Trevor Plouffe (http://diamondcentric.myshopify.com/products/plouffe-there-it-is) is off the DL. In his short two-game rehab stint in Rochester, Plouffe went 0-for-8 with a walk and two strikeouts. Not surprising to anyone, the Twins will opt to send Tsuyoshi Nishioka back to Rochester as the corresponding move.

Justice. The Cleveland series will forever be remembers as "the Nishi games".

Oh man, that is double good news. And now, we can stop complaining about Nishi.

It's truly amazing Nishioka was able to put up a -.5 WAR in just 3 games.

Good night sweet prince.

Seems like a good time to outright him off the 40-man roster.

Just what the Red Wings wanted for a final "push" to end the season. Maybe the other teams will just forfeit rather than face NIshi.

Honestly there isn't some huge rush right now, I imagine he won't be on the 40 man come next season. At this point he's just a warm body at AAA.
