Buxton has his 3rd HR of the season/solo HR and a walk, early.
Rosario has a 3 r HR

Kyle Gibson. 2/3 of an inning... 2ks.

For those not following the boxscore, Gibson did not start. He came in with a runner on. Fanned both batters.

I assume they just want Rosario to get re-familiarized with the pace of the game before he returns to a more challenging level? Because I don't think there's a set of rehab goals to prove that his face works.

yeah pretty much... I cannot imagine him spending much more time in the GCL.

Buxton showing power this early is very exciting. arcia and hicks keep on hitting as well. This farm system is looking better by the day it seems!!

Anything from Buxton this season is gravy in my book. Between adjusting to better competition, wooden bats, and playing a bunch more games beyond his normal school season, he (and any other just-drafted HS player really) is probably pretty overwhelmed. Definitely a positive that the earlier signing date lets him take some of these lumps this year instead of next season.
