And a righty on the mound no less, with reference to the other discussion on Morneau's woes against southpaws.

Random musing, that weird super-close-up of Dick's face when they go to commercial break creeps me out every time.

You've got a big inning started.........then give away an out.

Guy gives up 1 hit and is gonna be done after 6 innings cuz of pitch count.

Maybe the Twins will score some runs for him and he'll get the win?!

And also because he's starting to lose his effectiveness - but all in all a good outing for him. Twins need to be scoring enough to cover a 3-run starting performance from Liriano. If we lose this, it's on the bats, not Liriano.

Well the bullpen needs to hold them down and Gallardo is no slouch though his numbers don't look great he gets alot of K's

It's karma for sac bunting right in the middle of a rally.

R U kidding me Plouffe! I'm not complaing but I would sure like to see a few more 2 and 3 run HR's instead of solo shots but I'll take it. WOW

Raise your hand if you thought Trevor Plouffe would be leading the team in homeruns 63 games into the season.

Way to go Fat Crapps. WTF you think is gonna happen with you throw one down the heart of the plate. I'll give ya a hint, the same thing as last time.

23 runs in the last 4 games and we're 1-3 but only 4 in last two. When we pitch we don't hit and vice versa!

This defeat felt somewhat deflating. A 3 game losing streak at home against some ball clubs that are not doing so well. Capps has to hold the fort in the 9th and he failed. Capps is a very serviceable relief pitcher, but he is no stopper. I understand why the fans are not in his corner. This was a ****ty loss.

This is why the hopes for a comeback this year seem faint.

It's unfortunate. We have a decent offense when they want to be. Willingham and Doumit looked like chumps tonight. We left a ton of runners on base in this game. The problem we had tonight is the runners that got on base all batted behind Plouffe. The table setters and middle of the line-up failed, except for Mauer for the most part. This is a game you have to win. This one sucks big time! Damn... Plouffe is unbelievable!!!! What a waste of a great effort.

Terrible loss. Gardy has to change his logic of bringing Capps in in the 9th when we are tied. Hopefully Hendricks looks better tomorrow since we know Sunday is a loss with Blackburn pitching.
