I see the Twins aren't wasting any time in seeing what they have with Komatsu

Why wait? Especially with Morneau out of the lineup still. Let the next RF be flung on the wall, seeing if it sticks.

I am more worried about two no hitters against us on the same road trip.

Possible, giving they are facing Felix tonight.

Cmon guys, lets bust the bats open. Usually that can happen once every 7 games!

That was truly a nice Double Play to get Marquis out of the third. Can't complain about themiddle infield defense so far this year.

There've been a couple of nice double plays!

The Mariners' announcers were clearly hoping for the no hitter and were disappointed when Span broke it up.

6 walks in 6 IP for Marquis... Got away with it until the walk of Ichiro

According to gamecast, every pitch of that last at bat walk was a strike.

What happened to Burton? He hasn't pitched in a while.

And just to punctuate this effort, Mauer 4-3 to end the game, and just holding onto a .290 average.

You can't win if you can't hit.

A day after being picked up on waivers, Erik Komatsu went right into the Twins' starting lineup on Saturday and finished 0-for-3 in the loss to the Mariners.

There are only so many outfielders worse than Ben Revere available, but damn the Twins if they're not going to try all of them. Komatsu doesn't figure to work (http://www.twinsdaily.com/#) out any better than Clete Thomas did.
